Family Sponsorship

Any Canadian citizen or PR, if at least 18 years old, is eligible to sponsor their certain relatives to come, live, work and study in Canada. This category manages the applications for various types of relationships, but most of the times it is used for spousal or partner, dependent children, and parents’ sponsorship.

There is not any minimum income constraint for spouse or immediate dependents sponsorship, but if sponsoring parents or grandparents, a sponsor must prove Low Income Cut off (LICO) + 30% in previous 3 years.
